This shop was founded as an antidote to the mass-produced, cheaply-produced and quickly-produced detritus that floods the modern marketplace. Everything I sell has been handmade by me with careful attention to detail. I believe that objects that have been made by hand are imbued with the care of their makers. I put my heart into everything I make, so that each item may have a heart of its own. My role as a maker allows me to access the realm of the timeless, where I can find a reprieve from the frenetic pace of modern life; when I am creating something, I lose any sense of the hours passing. I hope that I can offer my customers a small taste of this freedom from the clock, whether that taste comes from the quiet, sustained pleasure of helping a plant thrive, or simply from holding an object in your hand that has been crafted with unhurried care. My artistic practice strives to capture the elusive firefly that is the now, and I hope that each piece I send out into the world carries within it the essence of the moment in which it was made - a moment that is at once fleeting and endlessly extendable.
